Who we are

Vizqon (“we”, “us”) is operated by Rexiqon. You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@rexiqon.com.

The important part: your media stays local

Vizqon is a browser application. When you load an audio file, an image or a video, that file is read directly by your browser using the File API. It is decoded, analysed and rendered on your own device, using your own processor and graphics hardware.

We never receive, transmit, store or have any access to your audio, your artwork or the videos you export. There is no upload step and no server-side rendering. This is a technical property of how the application is built, not merely a promise about how we behave. You can verify it by opening your browser’s network inspector while you work.

What is stored on your device

So that the studio remembers your work between visits, the following is written to storage inside your own browser. None of it is transmitted to us.

• IndexedDB — presets you save, plus your most recent settings: the chosen visualizer, its parameters, colours, cover-art options, export settings and any title, artist or caption text you have typed into the overlay fields.
• Origin Private File System — while a video is rendering, the output is written to a temporary private file so that large 4K exports do not have to be held in memory. It is removed once you download the result.
• Session storage — a single flag recording that you dismissed the ad blocker notice, so it does not reappear on every page. It is cleared when you close the tab.

You can erase all of this at any time by clearing site data for this domain in your browser’s settings.

Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page is requested, including IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer and timestamp. These logs exist to operate the service and to detect abuse, are retained for a short period, and are not used to build a profile of you.

Advertising

Vizqon is free and carries no watermark. Advertising is what funds it. We use Google AdSense to serve advertisements on our content pages.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.

Advertisements are shown on our informational pages. They are never placed inside the editor, and no advertising network is given access to the media you load.

Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before any advertising or measurement cookies are set, through a Google-certified consent management platform. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the privacy settings link in the footer of the consent notice.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of personal data about you, and to object to it or receive a copy. Because we do not operate accounts and do not receive your files, the only personal data we are likely to hold is contained in server logs and any correspondence you send us.

Data stored by advertising partners is controlled by those partners; use the opt-out links above, or contact Google directly, to exercise rights over it. To make a request of us, email hello@rexiqon.com.

California residents. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA and CPRA.

Children

Vizqon is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party links

Our pages link to external sites, and advertisements may lead to them. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before providing them with information.

Security

The most meaningful security property of this service is that it holds nothing worth attacking: there are no accounts, no passwords, and no copies of your files. The site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes or as the law requires. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
